The 30RB scroll compressor (R-410A) models manufactured year 2005 to present

replaced the reciprocating compressor model chillers in the 60 to 200 ton range.

Seminars start at 5:45pm and End at 9:00pm

The objective of this 9 hour seminar is to raise the level of chiller system knowledge and understanding for individuals responsible for the operation, maintenance and service of the Model 30RB Carrier chillers to improve equipment efficiency and reliability for owners.

Description: Operation, maintenance, and service of the Carrier model 30RB AquaSnap air cooled chillers. Including: Refrigeration cycle, direct expansion cooler construction, scroll compressor, Chiller installation and startup procedures, EXV metering device operation and checkout, checking water flow and loop volume, checking refrigerant charge, pressure transducers, thermistors, microprocessor based comfortlink controls operation and menu navigation, control system configuration, viewing and resetting alarms, electrical control sequences and troubleshooting.

Note: There is no "hands on training" with this seminar. Particpants will recieve Start Up,Installation, and Trouble Shooting manuals as well as detailed wiring schematics.

Note: Class will include one hour instruction on the new A2L refrigerants.

A certificate will be awarded only upon successful completion of all requirements including: attending 90% of all class hours. Any absences must be made-up next time seminar is held to earn a certificate (at no additional fee).
